Events and News
Welcome to GAHA and the 2009-2010 academic year!
Our famous Books, Beverages, and Bake Sale is back again this year, on October 12th through 14th. Volunteers are still needed to set up, take down, and man the tables, as well as bring beverages and baked goods. If you have any books you would like to donate, please give them to Brighton or Marie.
This year’s GAHA Guest Lecture and Colloquium, featuring Renata Holod from the University of Pennsylvania, has been postponed to the spring semester. Dr. Holod will now give her lecture, titled "Recovering a Sectarian Landscape in Medieval and Early Modern Tunisia," on Tuesday, April 6 at 7 pm in Art/Soc 2203. The colloquium for graduate students will be on the next day, Wednesday, April 7, in the early afternoon. More information will be forthcoming.
Remember to give your great ideas for our departmental t-shirt design contest to Brighton!
Please send Abram a blurb about yourself (picture encouraged, but optional) for the members section of the website. If you don't he will make something up.
